architectureholic facility where information on all the needs of home and inspiration on house construction. This is a 14 Series pendant lights by Omer Arbel for Bocci. The 14 Series is a family of low-voltage pendant lights designed to be clustered into groups. Unlike most contemporary lighting the 14 Series pendants are visually unassuming in and of themselves, however when they are clustered together they gain tremendous strengths, the effect being of many tiny candles encased in floating spheres of water. The light interacts with the imperfections and bubbles of the cast glass to create a visually rich halo of light. Cast glass is an organic process – imperfect by nature, so each 14 Series pendant is inherently unique. The 14 Series is suitable for residential and commercial use and is CSA- and UL-approved. The line consists of a single pendant, the 14.1, to a 25 pendant chandelier, the 14.25. Custom chandeliers are available and designed on a project by project basis. Given the versatile nature of the piece it easily translates into many different applications. Popular applications are private residences, restaurants, public lobbies, clothing stores, atriums, movie sets, casinos and hotels.
