Archipelago Cinema: A Floating Theater made from Recycled Materials
Archipelago Cinema: An auditorium raft designed to float on the sea. Organized by Apichatpong Weerasthakul and Tilda Swinton, the film was presented Film Festival in the archipelago of the rock festival Yao Noi in Thailand in March 2012. The audience was almost as if they were in the driftwood, floating naturally, the experience of how narratives of nature and the cinema can converge.
The inspiration behind the design of lobster farms floating film. This helped Ole establish a strong link between the local community and structure. The film was made from parts completely modular and after the start, all parties were dissolved and returned to the community for use as a park and stadium in the sea or perhaps even a lobster farm.
People who enjoyed their experience aboard this floating structure are certainly worthy of envy. The most inspiring of the structure is that it shows how recycled materials can be used to make structures and the wonderful people who have not are going to look good but are functional as much as you may think they are.
