PARKROYAL Hotel and Office / Skyscraper
Urban Jungle Redefined: Singapore to get a fresh new skyscraper thanks to WOHA Architects. Ownership of the Plaza Hotel could not have designed something so spectacular that when they decided they wanted a new class scraper sky in the heart of Singapore. Although minimal may not be very fond of the integration of both green building and compromise in the sense of modernity, is a real treat for lovers of green architecture. WOHA architects seem to have given new meaning to the "urban jungle" of the term, as they have in fact developed a network of flora refreshing throughout the new building project to take shape at the top of Pickering Street.
Located in central Singapore, the top tier business hotel and office in a garden project at Hong Lim Park, designed by WOHA, demonstrates how they were able to not only conserve greenery in a built-up high-rise city center, but multiply it vertically in a manner that is architecturally striking, integrated and sustainable.
Singapore is already home to some of the best green skyscrapers aware of friendship and power in the world. The new building will look a lot of green, with several floors of vertical gardens and waterfalls that treat their customers with the goodness of green. The green areas in the vast blue sky that each floor is dotted with lush gardens, which regulate the internal temperature and ensure that the energy consumed by cooling systems is kept to a minimum.
The garden design is created in a manner to provide a parking space in natural light and eliminate the use of artificial light during the days. The plant growth will also help clean the air of the city beyond and rainwater is collected from the upper floors of the building's water plant variety in the vertical garden. The designers intend to grow a large variety of plants ranging from shrubs and bushes to large trees and shrubs that will enhance Singapore's biodiversity. The valleys and created artificial waterfalls give you a feeling that you are close to the generosity of nature, and might even inspire a trip to one of the many forests in Singapore.
