Creative Idea for More Beautiful Dresser

Creative Idea for More Beautiful Dresser

Unique Map Dresser

Unique Map Dresser

Do not rush to get rid of your old dresser! We have a great idea how to make the dresser more beautiful and unique. With old maps! Yes, old maps attached at the front of the old dresser can make your family does not believe it was your old dresser.

Wooden Dresser

What you need to prepare are just some old National Geographic maps. Then using scissors, Mod Podge, a sponge brush and several damp paper towels, shape and glue the maps directly to the wood. After that, paint the dresser with white or other colors that match with the maps or your room. The end result is a beautiful unique-dresser.

Owner of the original idea of this unique dresser is Kristin Campbell. She drew her own dresser and made it look so amazing. At first, she carefully studied the maps then chose the ones that would look wonderful on the dresser.

Campbell also had an interesting story behind this idea. She divided the maps into four drawers that showed where he had lived with her little family: Virginia, California, Guatemala, and Texas. You also can do the same by selecting the maps of the place where you had lived. It’s really a creative and memorable idea to revamp an old dresser, isn’t?

Jessica has experienced working on many types of houses and the interior designer has always succeeded in creating unique styles that makes the houses become unbelievably stunning compared to the way they were before. If you want to know examples of Jessica’s works. Let me briefly explain to you.

The Bedroom

The Bedroom

She created a large and airy cooking and dining room from out of a small and uneffective pantry. She also added glamorous touches in every room in the house. She placed box beams in the dining room, put a fireplace mantel and shelves in the living room.

Luxurious Room

Luxurious Room

For the upstairs bathroom, she used a wood ceiling and wainscoting. She also gave a natural touch by placing ledges for plants between the entry hall and the living room. She added some element of surprise in the house too. Can you imagine how it looks like? And how nice and comfortable living in a house like that? Trust me, it is way more amazing than you think it is.

The house uses a woodshop/model-making zone and staging instead of conventional garage. The parking zone has two garage doors at 90 degrees on adjacent walls. You can open it as a covered area for outdoor events. There is also gravel area for gathering space. It’s really a unique design. Moreover, this house uses many environmental-friendly materials. This house is one of few buildings that offers many sustainable features and serves for more practical life. We hope it can be a great inspiration for your house.
